Bad Fever in the middle of the night

Can't sleep. Thinking about the film that we're shooting next month. Rolling it round and round in the head and heart. Thinking about all the things we need. Here is a list, in case you have any ideas/suggestions/thoughts/wishes/prayers:

*a house for the month of November. we need to live and shoot in it. though it could be worked out that we don't actually live in it. it needs to be not too nice. the characters who live in it don't have a lot of money. it is a mother and her son. they are depressed and lonely.

*the main character's car. it might be from the 70s. it might be a monte carlo or an el camino. it might be a station wagon. not too nice but not too kitsch.

*a woman to play the mother. she is 55-65 years of age. professional or non-professional actor, as long as she has willingness. in the film she is sick in the heart. she never leaves the house.

*a black man the same age as her, for a smaller role. he is lonely but more put together.

*money. the big one. we need $7,000 more to make the movie happen. it can come from investors, donations or people who will loan it to me. wherever it comes from, it doesn't matter, as long as it shows up. there is more information on the website, www.badfever.com. please spread the word.

*people who want to feed us sometimes. we will give them the money for the food they make.

*buddy passes. we need to fly a couple of people to utah & it would be unbelievable if we could get them here on the cheap.

the wind is howling outside tonight. i have been in utah for a little more than a week. it is good to be here to make this film. it's going to be a beautiful time to be alive.
