We are shooting my new feature film in the fall. It's called Bad Fever, and I'm awfully excited about it. Today I watched a short film by an amazing filmmaker named Barbara Loden called The Boy Who Loved Deer. It really inspired me now that I'm heading into a few days of rewriting the script for our film. Barbara Loden was married to Elia Kazan, a very famous filmmaker. She only made one feature film herself, which is unbelievable, it's called Wanda. You should watch it, especially if you're female. There's something very female-power about it. Meanwhile, check out the short film The Boy Who Loved Deer on youtube. I love this little movie. It's right on.
